The real reason why Pat McAfee missed WWE Raw reportedly REVEALED after the rumored involvement of W

The Raw commentators Pat McAfee and Michael Cole have become a primary source of fans’ entertainment. WWE has truly struck gold with their pairing, as they delivered some of the funniest moments during their time of commentating together. However, McAfee missed the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, and it was presumed to be related to Wyatt Sicks.

It was surely surprising that Pat McAfee missed the show in a city that is especially close to him. Many fans thought that his absence was influenced by Wyatt Sicks, as it came to light that The Pat McAfee Show was taken over by the creepy faction. However, that was not the case, as Wade Keller of PWTorch reported that he missed the show because of a last-second family emergency.

On the latest episode of Raw, after Chad Gable won the match, Nikki Cross, aka Abby the Witch, scared him and ultimately gave the ‘gift’ to Michael Cole, inside of which was a VHS labeled “Play me.” Apparently, McAfee was supposed to receive the tape, but after the last-minute change, that segment was addressed to the veteran.

Many people gave deserved credit to the 57-year-old for handling the commentary alone for the most part. At the start of the show, The Miz partnered with him at the commentary table. Unfortunately, he had to rush backstage after R-Truth granted Judgment Day a title match due to Liv Morgan‘s request. Nonetheless, everybody’s favorite, McAfee, will most probably be back to commentary duties next week on Raw.

Pat McAfee speaks on the WWE in-ring return

Along with being an entertaining commentator, Pat McAfee has also stepped foot in the squared circle a few times. His notable in-ring appearances came in 2022 when he wrestled Baron Corbin at SummerSlam and competed at WrestleMania 38. Recently, he shared his thoughts on when he might get back into the ring.

While conversing with WWE CCO Triple H, the 37-year-old star talked about wrestling in the future. He stated that whenever someone asked him about getting back into the ring, he referred to his match against Corbin at SummerSlam two years ago. Since McAfee was not a professional wrestler, he struggled a lot during the match.

This is SummerSlam in Nashville, That's little Charles Robinson [referee] right there, and that is me, 'Oh my God. I'm about to fall right on [Robinson] right here, and then I just stumble off onto Baron Corbin. That has been on my mind forever. So anytime somebody is like, 'You getting back in the ring?' I'm like, 'There is a moment when I thought I was dying.

However, that wasn’t his last match, as he made his comeback at the 2024 Royal Rumble. In a hilarious segment, McAfee threw himself over the top rope upon seeing Bron Breakker and Omos in the ring. Without a doubt, it will be an entertaining moment whenever he steps foot in the ring again.
