Seth Gabel is an American actor best known for playing “Lincoln Lee” in the TV series, Fringe. He hails from a family with a film background as his great uncle is the late actor Martin Gabel. Gabel was exposed to the show business at an early age. By the time he was a teenager, he knew he wanted to be an actor.

Seth Gabel biography

Seth Gabel was born into a Jewish family in the U.S. state of Florida on October 3, 1981. He was raised under the surname of his stepfather, Cosentino, who adopted him.

Gabel attended the University School of Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, in 1999. He also went to the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Gabel began his acting career when he starred in the romantic comedy flick, Tadpole, in 2000. He then appeared in an episode of 100 Centre Street and Sex and the City, respectively. In 2004, he was involved in the TV series, Nip/Tuck, in which he played the role of “Adrian Moore”, the sexually confused adopted son of Ava Moore (portrayed by Famke Janssen).

Gabel is also credited for his guest appearances in the United States of Tara, The Closer and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He starred in Dirty Sexy Money as “Jeremy Darling”, the charming, rebellious, and exceedingly idiosyncratic son of the privileged and powerful Darling family. His character was the fraternal twin of socialite “Juliet Darling”, played by Samaire Armstrong.

Gabel played “Lincoln Lee” in Fringe from 2010 to 2011. He was promoted to the main cast in the fourth season of the TV series. However, his character was written off at the end of that season before he returned briefly for the series finale.

On January 30, 2013, Gabel was cast in the episode “Vertigo” in another TV series, Arrow. He played “Cotton Mather” in Salem. The actor was cast as  Jeffrey Dahmer in American Horror Story: Hotel. In 2019, he was featured in an episode of Showtime’s Billions.

Gabel married Bryce Dallas Howard on June 17, 2006, in Greenwich, located in the U.S. state of Connecticut. The couple first met when they were students at New York University and dated for five years before getting married. The couple has two children: son Theodore Norman Howard-Gabel (born February 16, 2007), and daughter Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel (born January 19, 2012).

Howard is an American actress and director. Like her husband, She comes from a family with a background in films. Her father is actor-cum-director, Ron Howard, and her mother is the popular writer, Cheryl Howard. Howard has two younger sisters: twins Jocelyn and Paige, and a younger brother named Reed.

Her paternal grandparents are popular actors, Rance Howard and Jean Speegle Howard. She is also the niece of actor Clint Howard. Her godfather is actor Henry Winkler, who co-starred with her father in the 1970s–1980s American comedy television series, Happy Days.

Interestingly, both Seth and Howard planned to start a family in their 30s. But the plan went sideways when the Jurassic World actress discovered that she was pregnant with her first child, a week after their wedding. Howard has talked about experiencing postpartum depression 18 months after her son’s birth.
