Original MTV VJ, Martha Quinn, Joins Sirius

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Martha Quinn will join Sirius Satellite Radio as an on-air host for a weekly show called Martha Quinn Presents… Gods Of The Big '80s. Quinn's debut was Saturday, August 27 at 11 a.m. ET on channel 8, Big '80s. The show will also be repeated during the week. Quinn joins former MTV veejays Mark Goodman, Nina Blackwood, and Alan Hunter on the channel.

"I'm so excited to be joining Sirius," says Quinn. "When I'm done surfing and chasing my kids around, I can go into the studio and get back to a time when 'M' stood for music."

During her MTV days, Quinn was voted MTV's Best-Ever VJ by Rolling Stone magazine readers, and hosted MTV programs Martha's Greatest Hits, MTV Prime With Martha Quinn, and Rockline. After leaving MTV, Quinn served as Neutrogena's spokesperson, appeared in the CBS-TV series, The Bradys, did a short stint with Ed McMahon on Star Search, and in 1999, joined the CBS Early Show in a segment called "Yikes, I'm A Grown Up!"
